and are so happy and playful now!

 Billy, Giggles, and Lilly have all molted know. We gave Giggles (above) a bath. Billy and Lilly were still under grown. Giggles was not shy at all, she came right out of here shell. Not fully just like the picture above. It was so cool.

 I took Billy to school for my book club on Hermit Crabs. I was going to take Giggles but he buried him self and Lilly was just out of molting. I was typing up my Reading reaspon and I wanted  Billy on my lap. I was only in my pajamas because lice is going around. I still haven’t got it yet. Evey body loved looked and holding Billy.

As many of you know I have 3 Hermit Crabs. Well Ana (grandma Judie) and I thought Billy was the biggest, and not scary, the one in-between scary and nice. So anyhow Billy would not move around and get water or even food!! We took all the hermies out to give them a bath and put new shells in. My mom put these shells we thought no one would take and just put them in there to look pretty. The very next morning on November 20, 2006 we looked in and there was Billy in a new shell the one we thought no one would pick. We looked at his old shell and saw that he had a smaller shell…. way smaller shell. The weird thing was that it was not a circular shell it was a long one like Giggles. He has been more active and been up every morning. Another weird thing, we have bark dust and sand. Mostly all the time they use the bark dust and only the sand to get water or food. But after the bath Giggles only sleeps in the sand. Weird!!!

This is Billy. I got Billy in Vancouver, Wa. at the Pet Alley. He is very active and he is almost to big for his shell now.

This is Lilly. She is one of my biggest hermit crabs.I got her in Anchorage at the Pet Zoo. She is very active and like to climb.

This is Giggles.He is one of my smallest hermit crabs. I got him with Billy at the Pet Alley in Vancouver. He also likes to hold onto things. He looks to me like the worker of the cage.

Here are my hermies after bath time. They are drying of. Looks like Giggles is dry!

It looks like every one is dry. And ready to go back to go back into the cage. Looks like they are having fun.
